I was rummaging through one of my old hard drives and found scanned film I shot of one of my friend's kiddos playing in the water - it was something so beautiful to look forward to. And many things to be grateful for last summer.
warm water night swims in the rogue river
midnight walks with scott
burning my butt on leather seats
the feeling of the air conditioner finally kicking in
sunroofs
hands outside, spread wide open
my best friend's hair blowing in the wind (whipping around her face as she laughs and looks over at me)
our wanderlust when i suggest we should keep driving until we are somewhere new
my large-ass, bug-eyed sunglasses
that moment when time stops, and i am neither here nor there

i know! i absolutely love film, i finally got my eos 3 out for the summer, can't wait to shoot now that i have a trustworthy lab to scan my film (richard's photolab in LA- who did not scan this set, tho).
