Here are the results of a little "wandering off the beaten path" in the city center the other day. (Not too far off.)

I'm planning an exciting little international excursion with my Warm Pears girlfriend. Did I say excursion? I meant--an adventurous vagabonding experience. More on that later ...

I recently discovered Trastevere, a quaint little neighborhood on the other side of the 'Centro Storico' (Rome's historic city center) which is by far my most favourite part of Rome. This city is enormous (an understatement) and there are hidden treasures in every dark, cobble-stoned alley and every sunlit piazza.
